Rasanji Perera has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of TWC Capital.

TWC Capital (Pvt) Ltd, established under TW Corp (Pvt) Ltd, is a company providing financial advisory services to businesses. Currently, TWC Capital serves as a transaction advisor for mergers and acquisitions valued at over USD 200 million, facilitating both domestic and international business integrations and transfers. The firm is also engaged with leading transaction advisors in two state-owned enterprise privatization processes.

As a prominent advisory institution in Sri Lanka, TWC Capital announced today the appointment of Rasanji Perera as its new Chief Executive Officer. The company specializes in offering advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, as well as business financial consulting, asset and loan structuring, and business valuation services.

Before this appointment, Rasanji Perera successfully served as the Senior Vice President of Investments at TWC, contributing significantly to the company's growth and operational efficiency through his strategic leadership and expertise.

Rasanji Perera brings over 17 years of experience in business financial advisory services. Prior to joining TWC, he held senior positions at several leading financial institutions. His roles included Business Finance Manager at Global Rubber Industries, Associate Director at CIMB Investment Bank, and Group Treasurer at Richard Peiris & Company PLC, where he demonstrated expertise in structuring and managing complex financial transactions, investments, and major mergers and acquisitions. Notably, he provided financial advisory services for the acquisition of a significant equity stake in Colombo's Union Bank by TPG Capital in 2013, showcasing his skill in handling intricate financial deals.

In his new position, Rasanji Perera is set to lead TWC's highly experienced executive team, which includes Charith Udugama, Senior Vice President with over eight years of experience in business financing; Anarkalee Munasinghe, a non-executive director with over 16 years of expertise in European and Asian markets; and Arit Vikramasinghe, an executive director with a wealth of knowledge in public-private partnerships, along with Steven Enderby, a senior advisor with specialized expertise in private equity.

Currently, TWC Capital acts as a transaction advisor for international deals in the tourism and hospitality sectors and serves as an advisor for the sales side of transactions in the agricultural sector. Additionally, it provides financial advisory services for major companies in Sri Lanka and India, facilitating over USD 100 million in equity and debt financing from development financial institutions.
